Throughout my career as an event planner, many people have asked me how and why I enjoy what I do. I think the following quote best describes my life and work philosophy:

Now I know I’m not saving lives or preventing global warming - but I do love my job! I do laugh, often and much, especially when a groom toasts me during the wedding reception and thanks me for keeping his bride sane. I am honored to have fellow vendors refer me to their clients because they know that not only will I get the job done but I’ll do it with a calm smile and a heartfelt hug. I appreciate the beauty that is often found at weddings when an elderly grandparent tearfully embraces the bride and groom or a young child wanders off to spin around in her fancy party dress. I am thrilled when a couple tells me that their day was perfect and that they never worried about a thing. From my perspective, every cloud has a silver lining and every glass is half full. Besides my adorable son and amazing husband – weddings are my passion.
