Elizabeth Spencer, CWC, Owner and Lead Event Planner of You’re Invited Events, understands that successful event planning is an art form. She is committed to providing you with only the best service and delights in adding the details that will set your wedding apart from all others. Her philosophy is to provide a fun and relaxing planning environment, while keeping her eye on the goal of completing the perfect event for you.
After earning a degree in Spanish Language & History from Holy Names College, Elizabeth became a successful teacher in the East Bay. A twist of fate followed when she was presented with the opportunity to work in San Francisco for the De La Salle Christian Brothers as a Development Director. It was then she discovered her passion and unique talent for coordinating special events. She carefully honed her skills while working with local philanthropists, world-class hoteliers, and five-star vendors. Soon after, Elizabeth relocated to Pleasanton and created You’re Invited Events.
Besides weddings, Elizabeth’s passions include cooking and travel. She has visited France, Scotland, Greece and Central America. And has had the privilege of living in Switzerland, Mexico and Italy. She is also fluent in Spanish and specializes in Catholic weddings as well as ethnic weddings; Indian, Persian, Chinese, and Latin-American.
Elizabeth earned her Wedding Consultant Certification from California State Hayward. The Wedding Consultant Certificate Program is endorsed by the Northern California Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES).
